2013 Hyundai Elantra Review:
"The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS is a compact sedan that has continued to impress with its stylish design, efficient performance, and a wealth of features. As an expert, I'm pleased to provide a detailed review of this model, highlighting its key attributes and why it remains a compelling choice in the compact sedan market.
The 2013 Elantra GLS stands out with its eye-catching design. Hyundai took a bold approach to styling, and it paid off. The sleek lines, hexagonal front grille, and well-integrated headlights give the car a modern and dynamic appearance. It's a head-turner in its class and a testament to Hyundai's commitment to design.
Inside the Elantra GLS, you'll find a well-appointed cabin with high-quality materials and a comfortable seating arrangement. The interior offers ample room for both front and rear passengers, and the supportive seats are a welcome feature on long drives. The controls are logically laid out, making it easy to operate the car's various features.
The Elantra GLS is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers a peppy 148 horsepower. While it may not be the most powerful engine in its class, it offers a nice balance between performance and fuel efficiency. The car accelerates smoothly, and the handling is precise, making it a fun and agile car to drive, especially in urban environments.
Fuel economy is one of the Elantra GLS's strong suits. It boasts impressive gas mileage, with an EPA-estimated 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. This level of efficiency can result in significant savings at the pump, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious drivers.
Hyundai places a strong emphasis on safety, and the 2013 Elantra GLS comes with a comprehensive list of safety features. It includes front and rear side airbags, stability control, antilock brakes, and more. Additionally, the car performed well in crash tests, further underscoring its commitment to safety.
One of the standout features of the Elantra GLS is its exceptional value for money. It comes loaded with standard features that are often considered optional in other vehicles, such as Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary inputs, and keyless entry. This impressive feature set, coupled with its affordable price, positions the Elantra as a cost-effective choice in the segment.
In conclusion, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS is a well-rounded compact sedan that offers a compelling combination of style, performance, efficiency, and value. Its modern design, comfortable interior, and impressive array of features make it an attractive choice for individuals and families alike. If you're in the market for a practical, budget-friendly, and stylish compact sedan, the 2013 Elantra GLS should definitely be on your shortlist."

RECALL NOTICE
What is a recall:
A safety recall involving a motor vehicle or an item of motor vehicle equipment can be independently conducted by a manufacturer or ordered by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In either case, the manufacturer must file a public report describing the safety-related defect or noncompliance with a Federal motor vehicle safety standard, the involved vehicle/equipment population, the major events that resulted in the recall determination, a description of the remedy, and a schedule for the recall. NHTSA monitors each safety recall to ensure the manufacturers provide owners safe, free, and effective remedies according to the Safety Act and Federal regulations. Manufacturers are obligated to attempt to notify owners of recalled products. For vehicles, that means manufacturers merge their own records of vehicle purchasers with current state vehicle registration information. For equipment, where state registration records do not exist, manufacturers are obligated to notify their distribution chain and known purchasers of the recalled equipment. However, even if you do not receive a notification, if your vehicle, child restraint, or other item of equipment is involved in a safety recall, the manufacturer is obligated to provide a free remedy.
