Under the hood, the 2015 Patriot Latitude comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 158 horsepower, or an optional 2.4-liter engine offering 172 horsepower for those needing extra capability. Front-wheel drive is standard, while two four-wheel-drive systems are available, including the more capable Freedom Drive II setup with off-road gearing and hill descent control.
